The Debutante application/selection process includes:

• Debutante candidates will receive information regarding how to apply from a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, a designated school official, or a former Debutante.

• The completed application must be submitted by the deadline: March 12, 2026.

• Members of the chapter will review and screen all applications received by the deadline.

• Upon completion of your application, prospective debutantes will receive an invitation to the Debutante Informational Tea.

• Following the tea, invitations to a Debutante/Parent interview will be sent.

• Members of the Kappa Beta Omega chapter will select the final 2026 Debutantes.

• Selected Debutantes will receive an invitation to participate in the 2026 Fashionetta Debutante Program.
